Every place has some type of natural disaster. Where I’m from, the disaster is tornados. When I lived in Texas, flash floods and tornados were common in the area I lived in.
Now I know folks like to think “this will never happen to me,” but how did so many people end up stranded in New Orleans?
This is not a Louisiana phenomena. The majority of my life, I have lived in areas where it snows toooooo dang much, and at times you are unable to leave the house for shopping or whatever. So please tell me why neighbors come to my door asking to borrow food, toilet paper, a flashlight…
